LEAD PAINT – A SILENT KILLER
Protect your family with professional lead paint testing. Our Lead-Based Paint Inspection is conducted using United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) approved tests. We test four locations inside the home to identify the absence or presence of lead-based paint with results being generated, documented, and photographed on-site. If completed with a home inspection findings and photos will be included in your inspection report.
Lead-based paint is known to cause severe health problems, especially with young children and the elderly. Per The United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD): “Lead is a highly toxic metal that may cause a range of health problems, especially in young children. When lead is absorbed into the body, it can cause damage to the brain and other vital organs, like the kidneys, nerves, and blood. Lead may also cause behavioral problems, learning disabilities, seizures, and in extreme cases, death. Some symptoms of lead poisoning may include headaches, stomachaches, nausea, tiredness, and irritability. Children who are lead poisoned may show no symptoms.”
